In the vineyard
Montepulciano trained partly on the Abruzzo pergola system and partly on the Guyot system at an altitude between 300 and 450 m above sea level
In the basement
After careful selection, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, the skins are left in contact with the must with its own indigenous yeasts for 10/15 days at a constant temperature of 25/28°C
Refinement
Part in oak barrels and part in stainless steel tanks for at least four months. Aging in the bottle follows
sensory characteristics
Impenetrable ruby red, red fruit and black cherry jam on the nose, light notes of cocoa and toasting complete the bouquet
In the mouth it is warm, rightly tannic, soft, intense and with the typical almond finish
Pairings
Platters of cured meats, grilled and baked meats, pasta dishes with very structured sauces
